Cottages in Castletown - KK Malew 1760-1783

This book remained in force for 24 years, entries were annotated (and some names inserted) o1777 means deed passed through court in October 1777, m1777 in May 1777 etc.). Rents were in Roman numerals (ob = ½d)- here translated. A few sections where either the original or microfilm is indistinct are indicated ~.

The entries are numbered (in Arabic numbers) on the right of the page (these may not be original) - these are moved to the left column and serve here to indicate start of a new entry which may have several tenants and subdivisions. Partial rents were entered above the name - here moved to follow the name.
