GIFT OF ECCLESIASTICAL BENEFICES BY EDWARD I.—.A.D. 1291.

ALAN of Wygeton has letters of presentation to the church of St. Carber in Man, vacant, and in the King’s gift, by reason that the land of Man is in the King’s hands. And the letters are directed to the bishop of Sodor. Witness the King at Berewick upon Twede, 16th day of June.

Odo the clerk has letters of presentation to the church of St. Santan in Man, vacant by the death of Dofnald, late rector of the same, and in the King’s gift, by reason that the land of Man is in the King’s hands. And the letters are directed to the bishop of Sodor. Witness as above.
