WILLIAM DE TWYNHAM v. JUSTICE MATKORY.

A.D. 1290.

WILLIAM de Twynham, of the Isle of Man, seeks the King’s Writ to the Sheriff of Lancashire, because the Justice, Duncan Matkory, and William his son, had deprived him of his goods to the value of fifty marks, against the peace.

ANSWER.—Let it be respited until it can be ascertained by the King’s Keeper of Man, after what manner it thus happened, and what the process is.

WILL’S de Twynharn de Insula de Mank petit Bre Rege’ Vic’ Lane qð Justic’ Doncastr’ Matkory, et Will’ fil’ ejus de bonis suis ad valn quinquaginta Marc’ contra pacem.

RESPONSIO.—Ponatur in respectum quoUsclue per Custodem R in Mank sciatur qualiter se huit et qualiter processum est.
