Decision come to at a meeting of the Officers and Keys that one of the laws in the Spiritual Statute book had been altered by an unknown hand after its insertion, by this alteration the Bishop and the Archdeacon became entitled to a 'scoute’ for the herring fishing "in addition to their own boats if they have any."

Report of the Commissioners for the draining of fens and marshy grounds. Finding the land at Lough-ne-Greagh to be flooded owing to insufficient drainage, they order that a 9ft.wide drain be cut to take away the water from Droghad-e-Gollane (by a route specified in detail)to the ancient watercourse between the Duke's land and that of Wm.Radcliff of BallaKelly. The drainage of Kion-ne-Shooin is also ordered.
