"August 14th 1649: In ye name of God, Amen. I Elezabeth Tunman alias Borrowes being of perfect memory praised be God doe make this my laste will & testament as followeth: First I commend my soull to God & my body to Xpian burial. I bequeath to HENRY CAYNE 4s; to HIS SON JO: a brasse pott when eyther my HUSBAND breaks upp house[?] or else departeth this life.
Itm, more to ye sd HENRY CAYNE a hatt.
To HIS WIFE a double woofe bande, a kertchife & a wastecoate.
To MARGRET LAMBE[?] my best red petty coate.
To MARGRET TUNMAN ye next beste petticoate & a firlet crye corne.
Itm, I further bequeath her xxxxxxxx a feather bed (with ye consent of my HUSBAND then present) and a fledge.
I leave to ELIZABETH COSNAHAN a pewter platter & my best hatt.
To BESSY LAMBE 2s or ye worth.
To my HUSBAND'S BASTE DAUGHTER ANNE TUNMAN 30s, & to the ladde ROBT 10s and if one of them shall dye under yeres the other to have the totall.
Itm, to Sir WM 2s 6d. To ye poore half firlet meale ye day of my burial, and ye rest at discretion[?].
Itm, to KATHRIN THOMASON[?, ---MASON] a blewe waistcoate.
Lastly I ordayne & constitute my loveinge HUSBAND my lawfull executor of all ye rest my worldly goods as was covenanted at ye day of our contraction as appeareth more at large etc.

Archdeacon Will 1650 #12 German, Deed of Gift between Silvester Tunman & wife Isabel, & Marriage Contract between Silvester Tunman & Elizabeth or Isabel Garrett als Barrows dated 24 Janaury 16xx[hidden in fold]:

"Febr 11th 1646: xxxxx is it agreed upon betwixt SILL: TUNMAN & HIS WIFE ISSABELL that she is to have 20s allowed, ten of that money which MICHAELL CROSSE owes to dispose of at her pleasure for & in considderacion of[?] that fortie shillings which ROBT QUAYE[?] shold xxxx xxxxx had for the yeres of his house. -----it xxxxx hereof the said SILLVESTER hath shil---- xxxx his signe manuall ye day & yeare above written. The signe manuall of SILVESTER TUNMAN S. Witnesses: William Cosnahan, Thomas Tunman. -----CTES & COVENENT of Marriage xxxxxxx[hidden in fold] and agreed upon at ye Contracion of SILVESTER TUNMAN of St German parish on ye one part and ELIZABETH BARROWES LATE WIFE OF JO: CARRETT ye same parish on the other parte as followeth: xxxxx is covenanted yt ye sd SILLVESTER shall take to wife ye sd ISABELL & that she shall likewise take him ye sd SILLVESTER for her wedded husband, within the tearme of six weekes ensueing if God permit. Itm yt is convenanted yt if God shall call first for ye sd ISSABELL by death that then the sd SILLVESTER shall have & xxxxx to him xx his heyre or assignes all the worldly estate moveable or immoveable whatsoever belongeing or property[?] appertayninge to ye sd ISSABLE pr------- & excepted that the sd ISSABELL hath power to dispose of her apparel Linnen & woolen with one sheep & 25s sterling moneyes at her death by her last will & testament as she pleaseth.

JULY YE 17TH 1650: BEE IT KNOWNE unto all men, whome it may concerne, yt I SILVESTER TUNMAN of Peeletowne doe acknowledge to give and freely bestow upon my SONNE THOMAS TUNMAN halfe JAMES CAINES tithe of ye masemore[? fpc: mace Moar - turbary nr St Johns - #1 on Cottage rent roll]; being all ready paid for, save onely six shillings wch is unpaid as yet; and it to bee payd by my SONNE THOMAS; and he likewise having all ye whole small tithes thereunto belongeing to ye said farme; he onely paying out of it a goose yearely to his said father during his naturall life: moreover ye other halfe to be disposed of at his last will by me.
