South Side Sale, May 1799 #47 Malew

Robert Kinley (Cor) to Thomas Kinley

Whereas William Taggart of the parish
of Malew Did obtain an Execution against
Thos Corlett of KK Andreas granted by the
worshipfull Deemster Crelling Esqr authority
for the Sum of forty Nine pounds Curr-
ency of this Isle with fourteen Shillings
and Eight pence Cost the Said Execution
wass given into the hands of  Robt Kinley
Corener of Rushen Sheading with the Conce-
nt of the Said Thos Corlett in order to Sell
A Certain house out houses and yard in
Church ^Street in Castletown^  The property of the Said Defendant
Thos Corlett the Same being therefore duly
published and an auction Commenced on Turs
day [Thursday] the 17th of may 1798 and Thos Kinley
of the parrish of malew became the 
highest Bider

Now Know all men by these present[edge of page]
that I Robt Kinley Corener of Rushen
in the power of my office together with
the Concent of the Said Defendant Thos Corle
tt for and in Consideration of the Sum of
fifty Eight pounds five Shillings lawfull

Money of Great Britane to be paid un
to us at or before the attestation of these
presents have given granted bargained and
Sold and by these presents and the virtue of
my office Together with the Concent of the
aforesaid Thos Corlett Do give grant barg
ain and for Ever absolutely Sell unto the 
Said Thos Kinley his Eires and assigns
the house our houses and yard befor men
tioned situate in Church Street in Castleto
wn and joining of Norres moore Esqr on
East to the Rent of Thos layland [?] on the
East and North and the Rent of widow Water
son on the North and West and to the Comm
on Street on the West and South and gear
ing the annual lords Rent of Three pence
To have and to hold the said bargained
premises with all Rights and members
and appurtances to the Same belonging
unto the Said Thos Kinley his Eires and
assigns from the Day of the Date here
of to his and there own proper use and
Behalfe for Ever yielding and paying
and performing the Choise Rent

premises

And for the true and faithfull perform
ance hereof And of all Clauses herein
mentioned I the Said Robt Kinley Corener
of Rushen and Thos Corlett aforesaid do bind
our Selves our Eires Exr admr and
assigns in and under the penalty of
one hundred and fifty pounds Currency
aforesaid to be levied and paid according
To law and in Testimony here of we have
here unto Subcribed our Names this
19 Day of may 1798

Robert Kinley and Thomas Corlett the executing
parties to the before written Deed of Sale acknowl=
=edged their ??? to be their proper Act and Deed
            Before me

    At a Court Baron holden at Castletown for Rushen
    Shead.g the 11th April 1799 – 
The before written Deed of Sale being acknowledged before the High Bailiff
& now openly published in Court & no Objection offered agt it The
same is therefore Ordered to be recorded for the benefit of all persons
Concerned.
