Wm Kinley to Thos Corlet

Know all men by these presents that we
William Kinleay and Easter my wife of the
parich of KK Aroby [sic Arbory] for Diver good causes and
valueable considerations us hereunto moving but
more Especially for and Consideration of the full
and Just Sum of Seven pound Seventeen Shillings
and Six pen manks Currency to us in hand paid
the Receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge at
by and from the hands of Thomas Corlet of Castletown
Have Given granted Bargained alienated
passed over and Sold and by these presents
give grant Bargaine Passover and for ever absolutely
Sell from us our heyrs Exrs admrs and assigns unto
him the said Thomas Corlet his heryrs Exrs admrs
& assignes a Certain house and Broken Walls situate
in Millstreet Castletown ajoneinge to James Walkintons
on the North and to Thos Cowleys on the West to
Widdow Cannalls on the South and to the Street on the
East of the annuall Lords Rent of foure pens Be the
same more or Less To have and to hold unto him the
saide Thos Corlet his heyrs Exrs Admrs & assines the
premises affsd together with all ways waters & watercoues
Easements Liberties profits Commodities & advantages
to the premises in any wise appertaineinge yeldinge
and payinge the Annuall Rent together with all [obscured]

Dues and duties Suits and Services due and payable
out of the premises at the usuall time and Seasons.

and Easter my wife do hereby oblige ourselves to uphold
maintaine warrant and defend the premises agt the
pretended Right title Claim or Demand of any
manner of person or persons whomsoever, and also
to obtaine the Worshipfull Deemsters Attestation with
the Honerble Courts Confirmation to this present
deed of Sale and allso to do and to perform all
other act or acts thing or things that shall in Law
be nexessery or Requsit to be done to Strengthen
these presents as an absolute Sale or Conveyance
of the before menconed presieses  And for the true 
and faithfull performance of all & Singular the
premises I the sd William Kinleay and Easter my wife
do hereby bind and oblidge oure Selves our heyrs Exrs
admrs and assines in the penalty and forfevture of
Sixty pounds to be paide in nature of all fines
according to Law.  As Witness our hands this 20 of April
1770.

his wife acknowledged the before written Bill of Sale to be
their proper Act & Deed, Before Me

    At a Baron or Sheading Court holden at Castle
    town for Rushen Sheading the 8th May 1770.

The before written Bill of Sale being acknowledged before
the Deemster & now openly published in Court and no
Objection offered against it, the same therefore is
allowed of for & in the Name & Behalf of the most
Noble John Duke of Atholl & Charlotte Duchess of
Atholl Lord & Lady of the Mannor, & Confirmed by
