Ro Fargher sergt to John Kinley Sale

Whereas I Thomas Fargher Sargt of ye abbey
Lands of KK Malew, By Virtue of my office Did pursuant to
a Decree from ye Honble Court of Chancery, Take a Certain
parcel of abbey Lands Belonging to John Preston of ye afforesd
parish in pawn, and ye Same Being apprized by Four Sworn
men, and Due notice Given That ye Same were to be Sold By Public
Cant or auction to ye Highest Bider, and upon ye sd auction
or Cant Jon  Kinley of Nockdoo in ye afforesd parish appeared
and Bid the Sum of Thirty nine pounds Ten Shillings for the
premises, and no Higher Bider appearing, ye Same were struck
of and Sold To Him – 

Be it Therefore Known unto all men by These presents that
I ye sd Thos Fargher Sargt by Virtue of my office, Do for and in
Consideration of ye aforesd Sum of Thirty nine pounds Ten Shillings
manks Currency of This Isle of wh sd Sum ye sd Jon [page torn]

ye premises, with some arrears of Interest, The Remainder where [page torn/folded]
to Be paid unto me ye sd Tho:Fargher, Do Give Grant Bargain
Passover and for Ever absolute Sell, unto Him the sd Jon Kinley
His Heirs Exectrs Adminrs and assigns , a Certain parcel of Lands
Scituated in ye aforesd parish, Commonly Called By ye name of
Linses Close, adjoining to ye High way that Leadeth from – 
Ballasella by Fildrow, on ye west, to Robert Bridsons Rent
on ye north, to Jon Bridsons Rent at ye River on ye East,
& Wm Cains Rent on ye South, Being of ye Yearly abbey Rent
of ten pence or there abouts, Be it more or Less.  To Have
and to hold to him ye said John Kinley all and Singular
ye premises, with all and Every its appurtenances, wayes
waters and watercourses, Easments Liberties profits Commode=
=ties and advantages to ye same, in any wise appertaining
or Belonging, He ye sd Jon Kinley his Heirs Exectrs Admin[page fold]
& assigns, Yeilding and paying Yearly and Every Year [page fold]
annuall abbey Rent afforesd, with all other Dues Duti[page fold]

Fargher Sargt By Virtue of my office, Do Covenant and
Condition with him the sd Jon Kinley, to procure the worship=
full Deemsters attestation Thereto, and for The punctall and
Faithfull performance of all, and Sungular ye premises, I The
Said Thomas Fargher Sargt By Virtue of my office Do bind
and oblige my self, in ye penalty and Forfeiture of Eighty pounds
To Be Levyed according To Law, in Testimoney whereof, I Have
Sett This Day my Hand and Seale ye 14th of July 1749
