I'm quite sure this is the right Robert Gelling. He was baptized 5 Dec 1802 Braddan, 2nd son of Robert Gelling & Anne Kelly. Robert Sr was of "Balla-Grawe" in his 1835 Marown MI and of "Ballaclough" in his will, which mentions son Robert amongst others. Grandfather was Robert Gelling miller of Ballagrawe & Jane Kelly. Great grandfather was John Gelling of Ballamillaghyn.

Age at his burial in 1849 should have been 46, not 44. I had copied it as "44" from the Braddan transcript several years ago, and so had Brian Lawson for the Index.

Incidentally, Robert's older brother John was the great-grandfather of the archaologist Peter Stanley Gelling.
