Yes, it is a small world. I know both Kath & Stuart, in fact I was chatting to him only last Thursday at a retirement party. I had a quick look through Brown's Directory 1894 last night - no sign of the Wardlaws. If I get a chance this evening I'll look on my CD of 1891 census to see if there is more info i.e. parents birthplace and the street they lived in. The other information I had was from Brian Lawson's census index. You can access it through the I.O.M. Family History Society site and click on Research. Must dash, busy quilting ! Marie
