I did try to find out where the records of St Joseph's Convent School went to, but didn't have any luck. People who needed evidence of their parents/grandparents time on the island to obtain a work permit would enquire at St Mary's school hoping we had them. I checked at the church and at the main Convent in Liverpool but they had not been deposited there. Let's hope they turn up one of these days. Marie
