Just a few notes which may be of interest I am not
a family connection but live in Douglas. Clarence Terrace still
exists converted to appartments , "your " names are I think
still used.The red brick sea terminal building & luggage office was replaced by a modern building in the early 60's.
St Ninian's church opened in 1913.
The name Brent is still in use in the Skelly family[son of
George Herbert & wife ] who emigrated to Jo'burg in 50's
but returned soon after to live in Douglas.
