There have been quite a few messages on the BB about this Radcliffe family.

Gilbert RATCLIFFE's son John Ratcliff b.c.1635 (of Crot-e-Lough) died 1669 [will on Brian Lawson's transcripts list].
His son John b.c.1664, d.1701, married Margaret CANNELL who died (as KNEAL after remarrying) on 22 Dec.1723 [will].
Their eldest son was Thomas Radcliffe y Vair, b.c.1695/96, d.1732 [decree], who married his cousin Alice Ratcliff of Belfast (the other croft originally left by Gilbert R.).
Thomas & Alice's 4th child was Thomas bapt 9 May 1725, shoemaker Cronk Breck, who married Ann SAYLE 10 Feb.1749/50 Andreas, both died 1796 [will].
Their youngest son was William bapt 23 Feb.1763, of Ballavastyn, married 4 Oct.1788 Jane SAYLE als KAIGHEN 1747-1836.
Their son John 1790-1863, Ballavastyn, married 1816 Elizabeth KNEALE, and had twins Mary Ann & John bapt 21 July 1817. John, mason & fisherman, married Andreas [1] 28 Oct.1837 Catherine CORLETT, and [2] on 2 Jan.1864 Ann Jane KISSACK of Maughold.

Catherine RADCLIFFE, Ballavastyn, aged 47 was buried Andreas 8 July 1862.
