Received your e-mail and the Manx board response, Adam Cain according to all records we have was never married but once to Anne Corlett, please could you mail your research source to me, I shall e-mail the address to you, for it seems totally out of place in the Cain line, but strange things it seems can appear, because if true, that would make Elinor Stoen/Stephen, Patrick's mother instead of Anne Corlett, which makes for confusion how they came to be under the marriage of Adam Cain and Anne Corlett. I have found many oddities among the Cain descendants, so this may be another one, but we have no resource of data for the information you have given in the marriage of Adam Cain to Elinor Cain, although one of the daughters of Adam Cain Anne Corlett is Elinor, and my aunt's name who is 86, named her daughter ELEANOR,and my aunt's is ELLAREEN. If you would be so kind to mail your resource so we may look into it, the only twins of course we knew of was Patrick /Phillip by the marriage of Anne Corlett to Adam Cain and that was the Ballaugh Parrish, for Phillip is buried there. Thank you for responding, whilst I am here and posting, I,too, would like to send my condolences to the the families of the fire disaster in Australia, if by arson, God deal with those ungodly persons who did such a horrible act that has taken so many lives, we shall be praying for all and hoping these fires can be abated and stopped and no more lives lost.
