This is just speculation----I've gone through Brian Lawson's list of Ellison burials for German and picked out some from the right time frame. Then, since there aren't many, I've put their names into Familysearch and found that in some cases only the father's name is given.

The only one I've come up with who fathered 3 children from the list was Silv Elleson ( so probably the Silvester Ellison buried 1st Dec 1761 Ger )

A Silvester Ellison married Dorothy Fairbrother 17th Aug 1705 Ger ( according to a patron submission ). And a Dorothy Ellison was buried in German 4th March 1747. The 3 children whose father was Silv Ellison were (extracted entries):

Jane bap 10 Dec 1706 Ger
Richard bap 22nd Jan 1714 Ger
Jony bap 29th Aug 1717 Ger

There's no German burial for a Jony Ellison, and no marriage entry. Might Jony be a mistranscription of John ?

As I said, just speculation....
