John Wade abt 1821

John Wade (I'm sure) is adding more grey hairs to me than I'd like to admit.
I started tracking him on the 1841 census with his probable parents John & Margaret Wade in Jurby. (Place of birth unknown then)
1851 census has him as nephew in law to the head of the household Thomas Harrison. I noted that his condition was u for unmarried (aged 29 b Jurby) and lower down niece Mary Wade b Andreas age 23 was married.
1861 census might be my downfall here, as Head of house John (39 b Andreas?)is married to Mary A (33) plus 6 children
1871 census changes again to John (50 b Jurby) but this time he's married to Elizabeth Wade aged 25? but has the same children as before in the parish of Jurby
1881 Census, similar names John is now 59 b Jurby living with wife Elizabeth aged 36 at Ballavarran

I can understand being married again but having an age gap of 25 years seems rather large in any day and age.
ps. (what happened to Mary?)
