I can find no John Watt in 1841 - John Hellowell was researching in the archives of the Northern Commisioners of Lights (who ran the Manx Lights) - since he did this research some 8 years or more ago the records have been moved to the national archives of scotland who have a website - I have no record in my Manxnotebook - typhus was not that common on the Island as needed cramped insanitary conditions - I thought the main outbreak was 1837
