Good question.

I have't looked closely at the string of numbers in Brian's indexes before. Now that I've looked properly, his 1851 and 1861 lists are thus:

piece / folio / schedule

so the last number isn't a page number.

However, in the 1841 lists, the sequence is:

piece / folio / page.

I haven't looked at the lists for 1871 onwards.

Can someone tell me how to use these numbers on Ancestry, please ?
