I am now trying to find details of Margaret's marriage to John Rogers. So far in the UK BMD searches I have not found anything. I believe they were probably married sometime prior to 1877 but there seem to be no viewable marriage records from the IOM that I have found prior to 1884. If someone could tell me if Margaret is shown in the IOM 1871 census either as Cottier or Rogers it would help tie down the marriage date. Or if anyone could help with where to look for marriage records prior to 1884 online?
