I think that the John L (Scholar) aged 6 in the 1881 cencus could be My John Leonard Clague as My great Grandfather (John's son) was born in 1900, which would make John Leonard 25. Do you know how I might trace the marriage of John Leonard to Lillian (which must have been late 1890's)?
