Thanks for this. Certainly the IGI is very useful for getting the indicators but seeing the original records on film or microfiche (or even paper) can often add bits of information not seen in transcriptions. IGI should, as the website you refered to acknowledges, only be used as a finding tool................I was just wondering whether it is possible to examine original manuscripts of parish records on IoM as it is over here on the Little Island to the East......:)
