I have had tremendous help frpm here before, so am hoping can someone enlighten me with the right parents for Elinor Cowley b.c.1772 d.c.1840 Kirk German.
She married John Killey 1770 - 1819.
They had daughter, Ann b.1793 who married Thomas Killip , b 1780 Kirk German.
I had info from this site quite a while ago that Elinor's parents were Patrick Cowley b.c.1736 and Ann Shimmin b1740, d. 1808. but have found since, another set of parents with the same children.
These were John Cowley, b.c.1703 and Elinor Sayle, b.c.1712. Can someone help with this ? Thank you.
