I'm still trying to work out which family of Cain's my husband's grandfather, Oscar Arlington Steele, was visiting in WW1, the time he met his wife, Dorothy Maud Hulme. Oscar's grandmother, Chrisitian Steele (nee: Kinley), remarried to a Thomas Cain in 1839, at Braddon. They had three children (possibly 4, one before they were married) who where born in Marown. Apparently the Cain he visited was his great Uncle. Most likely John Cain b 1840/1.
