ss Creaden

The ss Creaden was anchored of Greenhithe, Kent at the 1901 census. The master was a Pembroke man, David Davies, and according to the schedule the ship's home port was Liverpool, but most of the crew, including mate & 2nd mate were Manx, including James McQuiggin and John Moore. I've seen reference to a ship of this name belonging to the Waterford steam ship company in 1904, but I'm not sure if it is the same.

Does anyone recognise any of these details or know how to trace ships or mariners? James McQuiggin later drowned, but I don't know when or from what vessel. This is the latest information I have on him.

Hope someone can help
