My gg-g'father William Thomas Moore was born in 1837 at Maughold, the eldest son of William Moore (1798-1850) and Ann Maddrell. William married Sophia Cowell (b. 1840 Marown d. of John Cowell and Mary Crellin) in 1861 at Santon and they then emigrated to Australia. I'd be interested to know if there is any connnection into your Moore/Cowell family.
