Diana, if you see "about' on the IGI it means that it is an entry put there by someone unofficial and which does not come from an actual bapt or marriage record, and is often imaginary.

You need to take care in passing on these entries as fact, such as "Richard and Catharine married 1856 Maughold", when the parish register shows that they didn't. Nor is there a bapt for their son. They are not a family group in the 1861 census, and Maughold parish registers show no Steele families living there, although there were burials of Steeles from Ramsey after 1881 (not Richard). Richard Steele was not bapt 1825 (or any other date) in Maughold.
There was a Cath dau of William Kelly & Ann Moore bapt Maughold 20 Dec 1829, but there is no way of knowing whether she is the one you are looking for, with no marriage there to Richard Steele.

You need to see their marriage record to get their fathers' names.
