The John Skillicorn who died 1782 was married to Margaret KELLY who was buried in Lonan 6 June 1789. See: http://www3.telus.net/lawson/twill/1789_003.html
As can be seen in this will, their daughter Jane married John Corkill of Ballagorry Mooar, Maughold.

Their eldest son John married Jane KILLEY who with daughter Margaret is mentioned in the above will. John d.1799 [will on Brian's website: wife Jane, eldest son John].
Because of the placing of their gravestones they are assumed to be the ancestors of the Gretch Vane Skillicorn family.

Second son Philip married Judith KILLEY and d.1823 aged 76. She d.1805 aged 48. [Judy als Killey, husband Philip, eldest son James half the land, rest of children.]

Lonan records are very difficult to research because of numerous gaps in the par regs and the poor state of the wills which apparently were always on the top of the pile, and are more ripped and damaged than the others.
