I have a Susan Ennett who married a Cornelius Carney in 1839 at Braddan.
Both families seem to originate in Ireland, as far as I can see probably in County Down.
Ennett would appear to be a variation of Annett which seems more common in Ireland.
My connection is the Carney line from Susan & Cornelius/
