Do you have any other information e.g. spouse's name, whether married on the isle, dates (birth, marriage, emigration) for William and perhaps a parish or town? Who made the gun?
I do not live on the Isle, but there are Keigs still there.
At the time of the 1901 census, there were 141 Keigs.
