Bruce I was given to understand that the "235 2179/1" etc were from the index - I got these refs from another posting on the net but no further information - I'm afraid I don't know what street they were in at that time, in the past I could easily get upto Liverpool CRO but it is no longer as convenient as it used to be.
Two or three of them appear to be together - it is the age of the Manx-born John I particular want + his family.
