There are a number of family trees on Ancestry that have John Gelling & Isabella Oates as Edwards father However, I don't think that can be correct as I have found on iMuseum a burial record in Braddon for Edward Gelling the son of John Gelling & Isaba Oates aged 5 years 6 months on 6 Dec 1823. This would coincide with the baptism record for Edward Gelling in 1818 the son of John Gelling & Isabella Oates.

Hence my search for other possible baptisms for Edward Gelling in Braddon.
