buy a bus pass for 3 or 4 days from from the visitor centre just inside the sea terminal in Douglas - it's also possible to get a multi use pass for all Manx National trust properties from same place (Castle Rushen, Peel castle + Cregneash are probably those you have time for - the museum in Douglas is free - the bus service is excellent - Douglas is a complete mess so pity you are staying there.
