Val, Thomas bapt.14 Feb.1773 son of Thomas Radcliffe & Margaret Skinner was definitely not the correct Thomas for your family. He and his two sons were passengers on the Ocean, which arrived New York from Liverpool July13, 1827:
“Thos Radcliffe 54 joiner; John 18 joiner; Thos 15 joiner.”
He was buried in Warrensville Cemetery.

Your correct ancestors were Charles Radcliffe and Frances Hinley/Hingley who married in Malew in 1764 as Frances wrote. Their son Thomas was bapt 14 Nov.1773, in Kirk Michael, as I wrote in my first message.

If you do a search in Frances's "Manx Notebook" you will find a lot of information about the Hinley/Hingleys.
