I guess to be a tradesman , you would have had to serve an apprenticeship.
It has been very disappointing , after finding Alfred with "our" James Edward - I thought we will find James Edward's parents now , but with the missing birth/baptism for Alfred we were back to stage one.
Frances , if you are reading this , how do we track down Alfred and or Robert's details /
