Hi Phil I have sent my reply again so I hope you receive it ok. I have just had another look at my Kewleysand I had looked at lib vast etc quite a while ago now. Looking at kerrowdhoo onchan. John Kewley was there in 1643 9s 4d.
John to Robt in1703 4s 8d. John's son William married Isabel Claguein 1714.they then produced a number of children including Daniel and Stephen. Daniel became the heir and I think Stephen may have been my ancestor. He married Catherine Skillicorn in 1751at Lonan. Sons John and Philip were born in Lonan in 1753 and 1756. Philip would fit in to be father of Matthias my grx2 grandfather. I don't seem able to prove this tho. So any ideas appreciated. Thanks Viv.
