I think this family has been discussed on the M/B before - the name seems to switch between Clews + Clues - no recent burials of such on Island (just John + Eleanor + in 1846 probably a grandchild, in Malew), no such name in my telephone directory thus and descendants if any on Island are likely to be via a female line but all seem to have married non-Manx names - son William was a baker in Laxey (there are MI's for him in Lonan d 1911 + 2 children) and would appear his son married + had children in 1890's but family seems to have left Island.
