just had a look at 1623 Lib Vas book - in Lonan 1623 (p 22) under Intackes Mallo Cowin 4d drawn and John Hogge entered - the setting quest avouch that he bought it and is in possession
thus Hogg name in Lonan by early 17th C (there is a 1663 will in Lonan for a John Hogg but I've not seen it)
