I think you may have two William Quayles there. There are two wills for WQs of German dated 1897 in Lawson's microsite: the one transcribed there is
"GERMAN
1897
No 118
the last will and testament of me William Quayle at present residing at
Ballalough in the parish of German."
This makes many bequests, particularly in Kirk Michael, including to WH Corjeag, executor, two William Quayles and two John Quayles, one in Liverpool and the other a cousin in America. The other will of same name, place and date is numbered 235.
