I too think Wm + Margt fargher were parents - there is death notice for Thomas age 57 in Manx Sun 7 Mar 1834 d sat last (ie 1 Mar 1834) age 57 joiner new factory lane (his wife had died in 1831 in Factory Lane (Preaching house lane in one report but these are same place - see discussion re Douglas Methodist chapels on MNB) - putative father Wm had d 1790 (see will summaries on MNB) - can't immediately find a burial or will for margt nee fargher
