In 1891, Bernard had been living with an Irish woman who may or may not have been his wife (no marriage found). Nellie Kelly age 10 in 1901 was probably Bernard and Ellen's daughter, born just after the census ?

Can't find Cath Kewley and illegit son William Henry b 1890 in 1891 census. When Cath gave birth to illegit May Kewley in 1893 in Hulme, she wasn't with Bernard Kelly since May was subsequently listed as his step daughter in 1911. So maybe Cath was living with a different man in 1891 as "man and wife" and thus would be hard to identify.
Hope this might help, but I don't feel too confident about it.
