I'm trying to find out any information on Catharine Margaret Kewley. She was bapt 11 Sept 1859 at Braddan. Her parents were John Kewley and Margaret Thompson nee Caine. There doesn't appear to be any record of her [or parents] in 1861 census but she is with her mother Margaret who had remarried in 1871. Her step-father was John Cannell who claimed to be born at Michael in the 1871 census - although they were living in Onchan parish at that time.
I can't find ANY information on any of those mentioned.
Any suggestions anyone please?
The main interest is John Kewley and his daughter Catharine Margaret. There doesn't seem to be any burial records for him or her nor marriage for her. Might she have taken her step-father's surname?
