in Wm Clark's household in 1841 census is a John Carran who is I think the illeg c/o Thos Karran + Jane Corlett - helps poins to Wm being s/o Wm Clerk + Ellinor Karran - there is a beed of sale?/gift from an El Clark to a Wm Clark in 1836 which may be the property in Nile street - the Clarks had bought property from Henry Quay mid 18th C some of which seems to fit Nile street (later Duck St, then Duke st)near corner with Bridge st
