I think you may be right. At least based on the IGI, it would appear that the William Clark in question was either the one christened on 27 February 1807 or that christened on 15 March 1807, both in Kirk German. Perhaps having sight of the original parish records might throw light on which one it is. I am not sure how much information tends to be included in original Manx parish records for that period.
