That Thomas Cannell snr was still alive in 1851 living in Ballaskilly with his children Ann and Catherine (no Thomas jnr).

My suggestion for Thomas jnr in 1851 was working as a Farm Labourer living in (I think the address is Poortown), German, with a Casar Callister as head of the household.
