Thanks for your reply. I have looked at my database and do not seem to have Frances or her parents or indeed any Gells from Mallew. You don't happen to have an earlier generation do you? My information on the Gells comes entirely from the Stowell Kenyon book which is much stronger on the Gill side of the family (though of course they come from a common Gell root). The latest Gells I have were born in the 1950s or early 60s and almost entirely outside the IoM.
All the extra information I have succeeded in adding is on the Gill side.
