Bobby Brinkley lived in Ballaugh Curraghs at the address you mention. In later years he helped with farm work on the Callow farm (Ballacoaige) in return they helped him in his general welfare. The Grest home is run by a charitable trust, which was gifted about 100years ago by two sisters who owned the property and the neighbouring farm (Grest Farm) the rent of which helps to run the home. It is therefore a charity and people who cannot pay the fees would be helped by the Government s social services. It is a very well-run institution.
