Your Thomas Higgins looks to be the right one - any chance of wife's name as Wocester might give the connection with Joseph Coleman
I can't find a Kk Michael born Margt Garrett (who looks the most likely) but if the Trennell was a misread Crennell then a Ramsey born Margt to Robt Crennel + Jane Callow in 1807 might fit well - most of the paintings are in north of Island with many around Andreas + Ramsey - in 1841 Robert + Jane are I think at Ballacrink in Lezayre - he a sailmaker but no Kk Michael connection I can see
