The wills in Frances' post take me back another generation

Looking at the property records on the MNB CD in 1690 the land at Brondel is held by Wm Cowne & Wm Knackill. Going back to 1669 the same portions are held by Wm Cowne & Thos Cowne. Since Wm Knackill is married to Catherine Cowin it seems likely that the land passed by heirship so Thos Cowne may well be Catherine's father. Does that seem reasonable? Even so I think that there is a need for some evidence!

As always any help greatly appreciated.

I also have direct line Cowins at Amagary (which is close by) so branches joining up is a real possibility.
