Thanks for the details. I remember now seeing them on the board a few months ago when Averil and Frances were looking them up for you.

There were a lot of William Corkills bapt around that time in various parishes, and I don't think your one had a "J" after his name at baptism (which would have helped!).

So Anthony Brien's one might be any of the other William Corkills. If he gives you an arrival date in Australia we could possibly track him down that way - could you ask him for more details? Aust certs are often very informative about parents and place of origin (depending on which state).
