Yes , thanks Sue, I thought that I mentioned this in my last reply,I too have run out of credits at present, not a big problem, but the next couple of weeks are rather frantic with our eldest son and his family staying here prior to going to New Zealand. I will check them out and thank you for extending the search I did not try that as all the references to "Clarke", have an e at the end, but it might well have been changed due to social/political events in Scotland, at the time.
Did you by any chance find a Clark marriage to a Shimmin? That is the big one I think. Sorry if I did not reply earlier, but ..
